Ezili is a powerful Voodoo-themed hero in Bloons TD 6, specializing in dark magic, curses, and percentage-based damage. Unlike most heroes who rely on raw power, Ezili’s strength lies in her ability to deal with high-health targets like MOABs and even the massive BAD. She is often considered a top-tier choice for late-game Freeplay and specific CHIMPS strategies.
Level Progression & Key Abilities
Ezili’s attacks deal Magic damage. Her primary attack places a curse on bloons that deals damage over time (DoT) and can jump to other bloons as they are popped.
| Level | Key Milestone | Description |
| 1 | Voodoo Attack | Fires a curse that deals DoT. Can pop Lead bloons from Level 1. |
| 3 | Heartstopper | Ability: Prevents all Regrow bloons on screen from regrowing for a short duration. |
| 7 | MOAB Hex | Ability: Curses a MOAB-class bloon, dealing percentage-based damage until it is destroyed. If destroyed, the hex jumps to the next MOAB. |
| 8 | Camo Detection | Gains permanent Camo Detection. |
| 10 | Sacrificial Totem | Ability: Places a totem that buffs nearby towers (attack speed, pierce, range). Costs lives to activate (cannot be used in CHIMPS). |
| 11 | Purple Popping | Gains the ability to pop Purple bloons. |
| 20 | MOAB Hex (BAD) | MOAB Hex can now target and destroy BAD bloons, making her a late-game monster. |
Strengths & Weaknesses
Strengths:
- BAD Shredder: At Level 20, she is one of the only units in the game that can effectively “one-shot” a BAD bloon through her Hex ability.
- Innate Lead & Camo: Can pop Leads immediately and gains Camo detection early, making her very self-sufficient.
- Anti-Regrow: Her Heartstopper ability completely shuts down “Regrow Farms” that can overwhelm other defenses.
- Tower Buffing: Her Totem provides one of the strongest attack speed buffs in the game for non-hero towers.
Weaknesses:
- Slow Leveling: Ezili levels up slower than heroes like Quincy or Obyn, often requiring manual XP investment or a long game to reach Level 20.
- Low Initial Pierce: She struggles against dense rushes of weak bloons (like Ceramics) early on.
- Life Cost: Her Sacrificial Totem cannot be used in CHIMPS mode because it requires sacrificing lives.
Pro Strategies & Synergy
- The MOAB Hex Chain: On rounds with multiple MOABs (like Round 80), wait for the Hex to destroy one target—it will automatically jump to the next, potentially clearing an entire wave with one activation.
- Wizard Monkey Synergy: Ezili buffs Zombie Monkeys (Prince of Darkness), making her a perfect partner for bottom-path Wizard strategies.
- Freeplay Essential: Because her Hex deals percentage damage, she is one of the best heroes for reaching Round 200+, where bloon health becomes nearly infinite.
- DDT Counter: At Level 20, her Hex can jump to and destroy DDTs, which are otherwise immune to many damage types.
