The Bloons TD 6 v48 update, released in April 2025, brings a massive new Paragon, a new map, a stunning crossover, and balance changes to the game. Here are all the details of this update:
New Features and Highlights
- New Paragon: Mega Massive Munitions Factory
This massive Paragon from the Spike Factory completely overshadows “Permaspike” strategies. With permanent spike carpets, explosive Spike Storm mines, and devastating Spikeageddon mines, it offers an extremely effective option for stopping Bloons.
- New Map: Spa Pits
Inspired by the “Tar Pits” map from BTD5, Spa Pits is a relaxing location designed for beginners. It offers a visual feast with steam vents and thermal pools.
- She-Ra Crossover: Adora Skin and Sword Power
As part of the Masters of the Universe collaboration, the She-Ra skin (for Adora) and the Sword of Protection Power have been added. This power automatically shoots beams to pop Bloons and has a lasting effect. The skin is available for purchase with the “She-Ra Prestige Pack.”
- New Missions and Achievements
Projectile-Go-Round: A chaotic mission adapted from Rogue Legends. She-Ra to the Rescue!: Designed to test the new skin and power.
Balance Changes and Tower Adjustments
Dart Monkey
X-X-4 and X-X-5 upgrades: Bullet speed increased by 33%, attack speed improved.
Boomerang Monkey
0-2-4 and 0-2-5 paths: Attack speed increased, but MOAB damage reduced.
Ice Monkey
X-4-X (Cryo Cannon): Damage type changed from “Shatter” to “Sharp,” MOAB slow effect increased to 30%.
Glue Gunner
2-0-5 path: Added +1 damage for post-explosion chain reactions.
Sniper Monkey
3-X-X (Supply Drop): Upgrade cost reduced from 3,000 → 2,500.
In-Game Improvements and Bug Fixes
Sandbox Mode
MOAB Test Bloon: A special high HP MOAB class added. This Bloon is ideal for strategy testing.
Boss Event and Leaderboard
Leaderboards now save after the first Tier 1 victory. The system has been changed from Top 1% to Top 100.
Rogue Legends DLC Updates
Rogue XP & Shop: “Marshmallow” currency added for permanent upgrades. CHIMPS Mode: Difficulty levels can be customized with “Curses.”
Bug Fixes
Fixed the issue of Geraldo’s shop disappearing on maps. Resolved crashes involving Paragon on the Polyphemus map.
Limited-Time Events and Rewards
She-Ra Prestige Pack: Includes Adora skin, 30x She-Ra Power, and special banners. Trophy Store: Added Magpie DDT skin, Spike Factory Paragon avatar, and Rosalia’s Border Collie pet.
