March 29, 2024 – Daily Standard Challege

Today’s BTD6 Standard Challenge was prepared by the player Fart1ng1sfun and takes place on the Off The Coast map. The challenge is called “The Money Making Crew,” and as the name suggests, we only have the option to place certain towers that can generate money. Some upgrades for these towers are restricted, but overall, it’s quite an easy challenge. I chose Obyn as the hero to support the Druid Monkeys. Let’s get started.

1. Position Obyn to cover a wide area.
2. Place a Banana Farm and upgrade it to 2-2-0 by upgrading both Path 1 and Path 2 twice as you earn money. You can use Obyn’s abilities during fast balloon waves, such as around Round 15.
3. Place a Druid Monkey to support Obyn.
4. Upgrade the Banana Farm once more in Path 2 to obtain the Monkey Bank.
5. Upgrade the Druid Monkey to 1-3-0 by upgrading both Path 1 and Path 2.
6. Place a Monkey Village to pop camo balloons and upgrade it to Path 2 twice to unlock the Radar Scanner ability.
7. Collect the money accumulated in the Monkey Bank, upgrade once more in Path 2 to unlock the IMF Loan ability, and use it when ready.
8. Upgrade the Druid Monkey once more in Path 2 to unlock the Jungle’s Bounty ability.
9. Place a Sniper Monkey and upgrade it to 2-3-0.
10. Upgrade the Monkey Village twice in Path 1 to unlock the Jungle Drums ability and boost the attack speed of your monkeys.

From this point on, the game should be quite manageable. You can easily complete the challenge by placing the towers of your choice. In my playthrough, I placed a Monkey Buccaneer and opted for the Path 3 upgrade, along with transforming the Druid Monkey into Spirit of the Forest. As you can see in the video, I easily won the challenge. Have fun!
