March 24, 2024 – Daily Standard Challege

Today’s Standard Challenge in BTD6 was prepared by the player Carrot_Derp and took place on the Frozen Over map. Starting from Round 1 with $1000 monkey money, the challenge revolves around surpassing Round 60 using only Bomb Shooters. We have the option to place a Monkey Village for supporting the Bomb Shooter and four Banana Farms to generate income. While it might seem challenging, it’s a challenge that can be overcome with a little knowledge of the game’s mechanics. Let’s get started!

1. Place a Bomb Shooter to cover a wide area and upgrade it twice from Path 3.
2. The basic problem we encounter with Bomb Shooter while dealing with Black and White Balloons from Round 20 onwards will be addressed later with the Monkey Village. But if you’re wondering what to do now, the answer lies in the second upgrade of Path 3, the Frag Bombs ability. When fragment bombs explode, they can pop Black Balloons and others, but they cannot pop them directly. So, we need a lot of bouncing!
3. Until Level 20, place two more Bomb Shooters and upgrade them to 0-0-2 as you earn money. Then, make one more. In total, you should have 4 Bomb Shooters with 0-0-2 upgrades.
4. To pop Camo balloons, upgrade Monkey Village twice from Path 2 to gain the Radar Scanner ability.
5. Upgrade your Bomb Shooters for speed from Path 2.
6. To give attack speed to your shooters, upgrade Monkey Village twice from Path 1 to gain the Jungle Drums ability.
7. You can upgrade one Bomb Shooter from Path 1 and 2 to easily pop MOABs and Ceramic Balloons.
8. Our goal is to achieve the Monkey Intelligence Bureau, the third upgrade in Path 2 of the Monkey Village. While saving money for this, place additional shooters and continue popping balloons.

Once you’ve upgraded Monkey Village for the third time from Path 2, your shooters will be able to easily pop all types of balloons. Congratulations, you can easily achieve victory!
