March 22, 2024 – Daily Standard Challege

Today’s standard challenge takes place on the newest map of BTD6, Sulfur Spring, and it’s crafted by the player Noblesquire4675. We start with $850 monkey money, and our goal is to surpass round 60. We can only place Dart Monkeys, Alchemist Monkeys, and Banana Farms. I believe challenges like these are educational for new players because they teach that it’s not about placing many attackers but rather about placing the right attacker in the right position and upgrading and supporting them correctly. In this challenge, we’ll see the power of the Dart Monkey. Let’s get started.

• To have some fun, I’d like to start with an Alchemist Monkey. Place it on the first island on the map and upgrade it twice from Path 3 as you earn money.
• Place a Banana Farm and upgrade it to 2-0-0 as you earn money. You can place a Dart Monkey on the last island to pop any leaks.
• Upgrade the Alchemist Monkey twice from Path 2.
• Upgrade the Banana Farm twice from Path 2 to make it 2-2-0.
• Upgrade the Alchemist Monkey twice from Path 3 to make it 0-2-4. It will earn you good money.
• To pop the camo balloons on round 24, you can upgrade your Dart Monkey twice from Path 3.
• Upgrade the Banana Farm for the third time from Path 2 to get a Monkey Bank.
• Now, let’s create our Dart Monkey beast that will win us the game! Place a Dart Monkey on the caldera in the middle of the map and upgrade it to 0-2-4.
• Place an Alchemist Monkey to support your Dart Monkey and upgrade it to 2-0-0.
• When enough money accumulates in the bank, withdraw it and upgrade the Banana Farm once more from Path 2 to activate IMF Loan and get a loan.
• When you have enough money, upgrade your Dart Monkey for the fifth time from Path 3 to make it a Crossbow Master!
• Upgrade the Alchemist Monkey supporting your Crossbow Master from Paths 1 and 2 to make it 4-2-0.

Your Dart Monkey is now a beast and can win you the game on its own! Victory is yours!
